Tip of the Week: Pin a Chrome Tab for Easy Access LaterGoogle Chrome is very commonly used as an internet browser, both on PC and mobile platforms. It is important while using your web browser of choice that you are making it as convenient as possible for yourself. So, today, we are going to explain how to pin Chrome tabs so you can easily access them later.

Pinning Your Tabs To Your Browser

Most of us have the same websites we go to over and over, whether it is for work or for pleasure. Some people try to leave these tabs open constantly, so they never have to worry about opening them again. While this is a strategy, it is one that will highly affect the usage and speed of your device. These tabs can also be lost so quickly by accidentally closing them all instead of closing a specific one or if your system shuts down or needs an update.

If there are tabs you need fast access to, this is why pinning these tabs to your browser is so efficient. Pinning the tab makes it easy and fast to open and the pinned tab won’t go away by closing down your internet browser. Here is how to do it:

  1. First, right-click on the tab
  2. Then, select Pin tab from the drop-down options

If you no longer want this tab to be pinned, you can easily unpin it by following the same process. Right-click and instead select the Unpin tab option.

Pro Tip: If you close a lot of tabs all at once you can restore them by holding CTRL(CMD for Mac)+SHIFT+T
