Chromecast is a display device from Google that lets you connect wirelessly with a TV or a monitor. Not just on a personal level, you can also use it for your business purposes.

To set up your Chromecast device, you will need these things:

  • A TV with an HDMI input port
  • A power outlet or an open USB port
  • A Chrome browser or Google Home application installed device
  • Access to WiFi

It is easy to cast a page from the Google Chrome browser with the help of simple integration. The Chrome browser has a button in the toolbar to launch the page to a device that you select. You can also run this process via a menu located near the casting button. If you’re using the menu, select the Cast option. Then, your active page will be cast onto your device. This method is also called “casting a tab.”

How to Activate the Guest Mode?

Sometimes, you may have visitors in your office. They may need to present some information using the Chromecast device as well. But, there can be risks associated with giving out your password to a third party. In that case, you can use the Guest Mode to ensure the safety of your data.

To activate the Guest Mode, select the Google Home app on your smartphone. Then, click on the three-dot menu at the top-right of the application to activate Guest Mode. With this, any visitor can use the it easily, without interruption. 

How to Perform a Factory Reset 

To reset your device, follow these steps below:

  • Go for a manual reset, pressing and holding the Chromecast button until the LED turns orange and white. Once it’s white, release the button, and it will reboot. 
  • The second way is to go into your Google Home app and select Chromecast from the menu. Then, select More and pick Factory Reset Chromecast.
